Blood Test AI does not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or date of birth. Nothing you enter identifies you personally to us.
When you scan or upload a blood test report, the image — or, for a multi-page PDF, each page — is sent to our processing service and forwarded to an AI provider so the values in it can be read and explained. This is the only reason the report leaves your device.
Our processing service runs on infrastructure operated by Vercel, which hosts it and handles the network request on our behalf.

We do not send your name, contact details, or an advertising identifier, because the app does not have them. The app does not use IDFA and does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, since it has nothing to ask permission for.
Your report is sent to our processing service, which forwards it to OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), a routing service that passes it to an AI model — currently Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite — to extract values and generate explanations. The model used may change over time as we improve accuracy. These providers process the report under their own policies:
We do not send your app identifier to OpenRouter or the model provider — that request carries only the image and the instructions needed to read it.
We do not store your blood test images or PDFs. A report is held only in memory for the duration of the request that processes it, and is never written to a file, database, or storage bucket on our servers.
The only thing our servers keep is a small set of rate-limiting counters, stored against the anonymous app identifier and the scan identifier described above. They exist to prevent abuse of the service, expire automatically after a short window, and contain no health information.
Our servers do write technical logs for operating the service (for example, a count of how many values needed an automatic correction, or an error message when a request fails). These logs contain counts and technical metadata only — never a marker's name, its value, your report, or anything that identifies you.
Your results live on your iPhone. Extracted values, explanations, and your scan history are stored in the app's own local storage (as app settings data) on your device, and the original image or PDF you scanned is kept in the app's private on-device storage folder. We have no copy of either to delete for you, because we never had one.
Deleting a saved test inside the app removes both the extracted result and the stored image or PDF for that test. Deleting the app removes everything.
Blood test values are health information, and we treat them accordingly. They are processed only to produce the explanation you asked for. We do not use them to train any model ourselves, sell them, share them with advertisers, or link them to your identity — we do not have your identity to link them to.
Blood Test AI does not read from or write to Apple Health / HealthKit.
Blood Test AI does not provide medical diagnoses. It explains laboratory values against widely used international reference ranges, which may differ from those used by your own laboratory. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your results.
We do not track you across apps or websites. The app contains no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK.
The only third-party service integrated into the app is RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat receives your anonymous app identifier and your purchase/entitlement status.
In addition, the following providers process data on our behalf as part of delivering the service, rather than through an SDK inside the app:
Subscriptions and one-time credit purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat. Your payment details are entered in Apple's own purchase interface and never reach us or the app directly.
Blood Test AI is intended for adults. It explains laboratory results and is not designed, marketed, or directed to children; it is not listed as "Made for Kids" on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, delete the app from the device to remove everything it holds — we have no server-side copy to erase.
Because Blood Test AI has no account and stores no reports on our servers, there is no personal profile held by us to export or erase on your behalf. You control your data directly, on your device: delete an individual test from within the app, or delete the app to remove everything.
